Art Show Fundraiser for MS/HS Aged Youth

 

Middle School and High School aged students have the chance to showcase their artistic talents at the Briggs District Library while helping to raise money for the library's renovation fund!

January 9 - 29: Register online, in person or by phone

January 30th to February 2nd: Drop off your art

 February 6th - 18th: Voting 

February 21: Winners will be contacted to pick up their prize!

There will be 4 categories to participate in.
Each category will have a grand prize winner and a runner up.

  • - Middle School 2D Art ex. Paintings, Drawings, Photography
    (Must having hanging capability or brought with an easel)

- Middle School 3D Art ex. Pottery, Wood Carvings, Sculptures
(Must fit on a table or in our locked display case)

- High School 2D Art ex. Paintings, Drawings, Photography
(Must have hanging capability or brought with an easel)

- High School 3D Art ex. Pottery, Wood Carvings, Sculptures
(Must fit on a table or in our locked display case) 

Art will be accepted at the library on Monday, January 30th Thursday, February 2nd. Please bring in a handwritten or typed paper with your name, age, grade, school, type of project, and name of project. 

Art will be displayed at the library from Monday, February 6th - Saturday, February 18th. Voting will also be taking place at this time.
Family, friends, and other patrons will have the opportunity to vote by donations to the library.

The 2 art projects with the most money donated in each of the 4 categories will win a prize!

Winners will be informed on Tuesday, Feb 21st.
