Michigan author and veterinarian RJ Erskine blends personal experiences and history to write suspense fiction -- set in a deceptively serene valley within the mountains of Pennsylvania. Erskine has served as a large animal veterinarian for 40 years, including 30 years at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. His suspense novels draw on his personal experiences and events while working within an Amish community in rural Pennsylvania.
