Steam Locomotive Number 1225

Steam Railroading Institute (SRI) is bringing us an exciting program about
their famous movie star Steam Locomotive the No1225!  
It was used for imagery and sounds in the Christmas Movie … The POLAR EXPRESS!
Attendees will enjoy learning more about the locomotive’s life thus far,
her magic and what makes rolling down the tracks exciting history.
Our Briggs District Library will host this PowerPoint event on
Tuesday Sept. 19th @ 6:30pm;
complete with photos, video clips and even some
local Michigan railroad history. The SRI presenter will bring out the “kid” in our adults
and the wonder in our children of all ages. Please join us for an enjoyable evening of railroad history, memories and a little magic that will make you smile. We will also have time for “Questions & Answers”. So, bring your stories, your curiosity and come learn more about a local steam locomotive celebrity ……… ALL ABOARD!!!
